Alex Feucht
Engineering Geologist
Alex Feucht serves as a engineering geologist consultant for Terra-Petra. He earned an MS in geology from the University of Montana and a BS in geology from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to Terra-Petra, Alex worked as an environmental consultant for seven years, an environmental geologist for four years, and an exploration geologist. He has supervised geologic field programs in Alaska including collecting, describing, evaluating, and interpreting samples.
Alex has managed projects for soil and groundwater remediation, installed vapor probes near landfills and oil and gas fields, completed compaction testing of landfill cover soils, and managed and reported maintenance and monitoring of air and groundwater quality via vapor extraction (VES) and automatic recover (ARS) systems under SCAQMD and RWQCB guidance. Alex has performed, managed, and reported environmental site contamination, hydrogeologic assessments, and soil remediation. He is also experienced in a wide range of soil geology activities, is certified in the OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Material Awareness Training, and has completed the 8-hour Health and Safety Supervisory Training.
