Arturo Esqueda Jr. started as an inspector with Terra-Petra in February of 2016 while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles. His past work with a major general contractor, as a superintendent, provided him with field experience in the constructability of projects. Arturo has vast knowledge of all code requirements for the various governing agencies in Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach County, and San Francisco. He has completed all requirements to hold a deputy license with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Arturo has also completed certification trainings to become an approved inspector for a variety of different Waterproofing/Methane barrier manufacturers, such as Cetco, Epro, Tremco, Stego, Construction Instruction, and AVM Industries.

As Terra-Petra’s Project Manager, Arturo oversees environmental projects involving remedial design, and environmental compliance. Contract requirements, quality assurance, staffing and scheduling also fall within his purview. As PM he coordinates all new and existing projects, with clients, architects, engineers, and Terra Petra drafting staff. His field experience and training has allowed him to have a firm grasp of the components involved with the design of creating a safe and properly mitigated building.
