However, something unexpected was discovered during site wide excavation, not water but hydrocarbon contaminated soils carried onto the site from the adjacent freeway right-of-way. The health and well-being of the students and staff became an immediate concern of the architect.<\/p>\n<p>Due to our extensive experience with soil gas vapor mitigation systems, the architect didn\u2019t have to look too far. Terra-Petra was able to promptly design an effective sub-slab soil gas vapor mitigation system.
