Ismael Escobedo Carbajal

Ismael is a Building Enclosure Consultant in Terra-Petra’s Waterproofing Division, with over 5 years of experience working on a variety of building types including hospitals, courthouses, mixed-use spaces, apartments/hotels and private residences. His work experience includes new design, construction administration, design peer review, construction document development, and building enclosure detail development. In the field, Ismael has direct experience with field testing and conducting third-party below-grade waterproofing inspections. Additionally, he has been involved in the investigation and rehabilitation of existing building enclosure components and has experience working with a variety of systems, including plaza deck waterproofing, below-grade waterproofing, balcony waterproofing, exterior wall, cladding and window assemblies, and roofing. Having received a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering, Ismael utilizes an engineering framework to solve complex building enclosure problems in an organized, critical, and methodical manner; his engineering background elevates his understanding of building enclosure systems and components, making him an invaluable asset to design teams and solution seekers.
