Bahar Amoli, P.E., PH.D
Bahar Amoli, Ph.D. P.E. is a skilled Civil/Environmental Engineer working in the field since 2006. Bahar’s consulting career began while working towards her master’s degree in 2009. She served as a staff engineer for Rasa-Saz Consulting Co. in Amol, Iran. In this position she was responsible for the design and construction of several projects including residential and commercial buildings, warehouses, wastewater treatment plants, and oil and gas depot facilities including buildings and oil tanks.
As a Senior Environmental Engineer at Terra-Petra she offers environmental and geotechnical project expertise in:
- Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments including human and ecological risk assessments.
- Design of vapor intrusion mitigation system for new and existing buildings.
- Contaminant fate and transport analysis within the soil and groundwater.
- Methane emissions assessment, testing protocol, and reporting requirements.
- Wastewater treatment and water plants, underground utilities, tanks, and pump stations
- Landfill closures, earthen embankments, drainage channels, and detention ponds.
- Soil and groundwater contamination monitoring, and remediation.
Bahar graduated with her PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2012. Her prior education includes an MSc, Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of Mazandaran, Babol, Iran in 2008 and a BSc, Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran in 2005.
